Flora

The Dragon's Teeth mountains are home to a variety of hardy plants and mystical flora:

Dragon's Breath Flower: A rare, fiery-red bloom that thrives on the sunlit cliffs. It emits a gentle warmth and is said to have healing properties, particularly effective in treating burns and frostbite.

Frostpetal: A delicate, blue-white flower found near the higher peaks and in the vicinity of the Frostforge Deep Mine. Its petals are cold to the touch and can be used to create potions that grant temporary resistance to fire and heat.

Starshine Moss: This luminescent moss grows in the shadowy crevices and caves of the mountains. It glows faintly in the dark, providing natural light. It can be harvested to make a potion that grants night vision.

Moonberry Bush: These shrubs produce small, silver berries that glow faintly under the moonlight. The berries are known to enhance magical abilities for a short period when consumed.

Fauna

The rugged terrain of the Dragon's Teeth supports a variety of wildlife, including both mundane and magical creatures:

Mountain Goats: Agile and sure-footed, these creatures are a common sight on the steep slopes. They are known for their remarkable climbing abilities and are often hunted for their meat and hides.

Snow Leopards: These elusive predators roam the higher altitudes. They are stealthy hunters, prized by poachers for their beautiful, thick fur.

Thunderbirds: Massive, eagle-like creatures with the ability to summon thunderstorms. They nest in the highest peaks and are often seen soaring above the mountains during stormy weather.

Crystal Spiders: Found in the caves and crevices, these spiders spin webs that glisten like crystals. Their venom has minor paralyzing effects, useful in alchemical concoctions.

Several magical herbs with potent properties grow in the Dragon's Teeth:

Fireleaf: A vibrant red herb found near volcanic vents and hot springs. Its leaves can be used to create fire-resistant potions or enhance fire-based spells.

Iceheart Root: Found buried deep in the frozen soil of the high peaks, this root has powerful cooling properties. It's often used in potions that provide resistance to cold or in the crafting of ice-related magical items.

Windwhisper Reed: This tall, grass-like plant grows in windy, exposed areas. When dried and ground, it can be used to create a powder that grants temporary control over wind currents.

Monsters

The Dragon's Teeth mountains are also home to a variety of monstrous creatures, each with its own temperament and dangers:

Stone Giants: These massive beings dwell in the deeper, more remote parts of the mountains. They are generally peaceful but fiercely territorial. Encroaching on their territory can provoke violent responses.

Wyverns: Smaller and less intelligent cousins of dragons, wyverns can be found nesting in the higher cliffs. They are aggressive predators, often attacking travelers and livestock.

Ice Wraiths: Ghostly apparitions that haunt the Frostforge Deep Mine and the higher, colder regions. They are remnants of miners who perished in the cold, driven by an insatiable hunger for warmth. These creatures are malevolent and attack any source of heat or life they encounter.

Rock Trolls: These brutish creatures inhabit the caves and lower slopes. They are known for their regenerative abilities and their love for hoarding shiny objects. Rock Trolls are aggressive and will attack intruders on sight.

The Dragon's Teeth mountains, with their rich biodiversity and lurking dangers, offer adventurers a wealth of opportunities for exploration, discovery, and peril.
