Introduction

To the east of Knight's Crossing, the Haunted Graveyard stretches out under the shadow of gnarled trees. This eerie place is filled with old, decrepit tombstones and larger mausoleums that house the remains of Harbour City's long-departed citizens.

Special Features

Frequent Undead Sightings - Zombies, skeletons, and, occasionally, more powerful undead such as wraiths or ghouls are commonly reported emerging at night, providing a constant threat as well as training for the militia. There is a rumor that a vampire once dwelled in the Haunted Graveyard.

Ancient Crypts - The oldest parts of the graveyard contain crypts that are rumored to be the resting places of cursed souls, whose unrest lends power to the necromantic energies permeating the area.

Ghostly Legends - Many tales haunt the graveyard, including stories of a vengeful spirit known as the "Weeping Widow," who is said to roam the graveyard seeking justice for her murdered husband.

Mystical Fog - A mysterious fog seems to roll in from the Siltwater River at night, enveloping the graveyard and enhancing its spooky atmosphere, perfect for setting the scene for midnight encounters.

The Haunted Graveyard offers numerous opportunities for adventures, including the chance to battle undead foes, uncover hidden secrets, and perhaps even put to rest a few restless spirits. Its proximity to the Lords' Encampment also makes it a chilling counterpoint to the discipline and order of military life.
